DEAN COLLINS SHIM SHAM Tutorial
This is a 24 minute tutorial and break down of the steps for The Dean Collins Shim Sham. This is a clear and detailed class that takes you from start to finish. We recommend that you first take the standard level 1 Shim Sham before taking this level 2 - 3 (advanced version).
The Dean Collins Shim Sham is a solo jazz line dance routine that begins with the familiar patterns of the original Shim Sham (a standard footwork from the tap dance world), but then diverges into material developed and choreographed by Dean Collins himself. This routine was originally created as a three-man performance in the 1950s for Dean Collin's team members. Today it's certainly one of the must know routines if you are at the top of your game in the field of Lindy Hop.
